General information: 

The Embassy is offering general attestation service for various kind of documents, such as,  police clearance certificate, birth registration certificate, marriage certificate, academic documents, passport copy, commercial documents, power of attorney etc.

The Embassy does not have any agent for processing those documents. The service seekers are advised to get in touch with the Embassy direct for all kinds of service.

Attestation:

Requirements for attestation of:

• Power of Attorney:
  1. Photocopy of the Passport(s).
  2. Original passport(s).
  3. Signature in person(s) before the Consular Officer.
  4. Photographs (passport size) of both parties: 01 copy (for each of the persons).
  5. Photocopy of the National ID of the person 
  6. Proof of payment to Embassy Bank Account
  7. One set photocopy of the original document
• Educational, Police Clearance and other certificates:
  1. Prior attestation of the documents by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka which is attested by the concern authority.
  2. One set photocopy of the original document
• Unmarried Certificates: Letter or certificate issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner which is attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka. One set photocopy of the original document should be submitted.
• Foreign Documents Legalization: Documents must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bucharest. One set photocopy of the original document should be submitted.

On all working days, i.e., Monday to Friday except holidays: 09:00 am -04:30 pm

Postal service: 

Postal service may be availed of by sending the documents by post to the Embassy address. The attestation fee may be transfer to the Embassy Bank Account. After processing of your documents, those may be received either direct from the Embassy counter or by return post arrange by the client/service seeker. Euro 10.00 (ten)/RON 50.00 (fifty) per Bangladeshi document (such as copy of Bangladeshi Passport, educational certificate, police clearance, birth/death registration certificate, Nikahnama/ marriage certificate,  health Certificate)

Euro 20.00(twenty)/RON 100 (one hundred) for Power of Attorney and any certificate issued by the Embassy

 Euro 50.00 (fifty)/RON 250(two hundred fifty) for Commercial documents/Demand letter etc. per document.
